My client is currently looking to recruit an experienced Marine Electronics Engineer with at least 3 years hands on experience to be responsible for the Installation for the physical installation of the system Installation of navigation and commutation equipment (i.e. Ecdis, Radar,
Autopilots, Gyros, Logs, GPS, GMDSS etc).
Only the Installation Engineer will be responsible for the physical installation of the system
and will assist the IBS Commissioning Engineer in the subsequent commissioning of
the equipment. On larger projects a Commissioning Engineer may be responsible for
both installation and commissioning in and in these cases the Installation Engineer will
assist only.
Ideally you will have installation experience into luxury yachts, Products installed, commissioned or repaired on a regular basis are Radar, Autopilot, Chartplotter, GPS, Instruments, VHF, Inmarsat, V-SAT, Satellite TV and Entertainment Systems, from a variety of manufacturers.

This vacancy will involve travelling, mainly within Europe. A flexible approach to work, self motivation and excellent communications skills are required.
