A self motivated, imaginative individual with demonstrated success in the development of Software Systems is required by an intelligent company.
They are looking for a logical thinker with a structured approach to design and problem solving. Capable of interacting within a team or working in isolation without close supervision. Effective communicator especially within a technical arena to architect, design and maintain quality software, and associated documentation, which meets the Project Requirements.
•Translate part of an overall software architecture in to well designed software modules
•Ensure proper test, debug and verification of software modules, unit through to system testing
•Challenge and question design and architecture to seek improvements.
•Produce well structured, documented and maintainable code.
•Integration of third party software.
•Provide maintenance support for existing software to ensure prompt rectification of problems
•Ensure proper test, debug and verification of software prior to release
•Participate in, and contribute to, formal Design and Project Reviews
•Create work breakdown and estimates for New Projects/Systems.

Must have

•HND/Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or Technology discipline preferred
•Will have at least 6 years commercial software development experience within Consumer Electronics, Telecoms, Automotive, or Aerospace Industries
•Detailed knowledge of programming languages, specifically C/Assembler/C++
•Experienced in architect and implementing software modules from concept to integration to a wider system design.
•Experienced in working with third parties for architectural design and software integration.
•Completed several projects utilising the full software engineering life cycle and using appropriate Structured Design Methodologies
•Excellent (fluent) English communication skills (oral and written)
